Our Story

So quite frankly,..

Owners Chantal and Steven decided to do the one thing everyone was thinking or dreaming of and so

A diner was born, an american classic diner situated in the harbour heart of Antwerpen Belguim

Quite franklyWhatever is on the plate has it's history : As we would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves, we are always going to be frank about our concept and never quiet. Quite Frankly has lifted from the ground to unexpected appreciation from customers and fans, as a tribute , we would like to always be grateful and as-well to our team that deliver a substantial amount of love and service to make you feel like you are on your own mini vacation in  our diner.

Our dishes are quite frank to the plate and so a legend is born :

They would never want to be the diner that could be compared to other diners. Each diner has it's own style and that is exactly why they started this journey. Most of the details reflect Steven and Chantal’s background from Steven being brought up in Belgium , an amazing photographer and a chef to Chantal, South African and Dutch studied photogaphy hence a visual creator , social being. A great combination , providing the salty yet sweet nostalgia behind our doors. Rewinding history that may relate to many or none. They have years of experience sourcing around food , traveling , creativity and passion.

It’s quite frankly not a trend it’s a classic scenario.:  Perhaps it all started with cultures being combined together, the love for vintage essentials , the hard work ethic & soul in the music and as silly as it is true , " transportation brings us to new experiences and people.''

The original diner being first a food wagon has connected to each role we all play in today.

Freedom and salvation, quite frankly starts with food: America is a broad country , consisting of a huge amount of culture and diversity for many generations. That inspired them as they inspire others " since we are the table and bring nothing else ". We are infatuated with the street food around the world , to the soulful recipes that are basic homemade meals and there playful with switching up the menu weekly, promise quality each day.

A dying breed or not so much anymore.

We here now.
